Life..Or something like it

So I took my car in for inspection on wednesday night thinking no biggie it will be done by the time we get back from our company trip on friday night, WRONG! It fail emissions. Something is wrong with the exhaust system. I just hope it is ready tomorrow. I forgot how much it suck not to have driving privileges!

So I received a phone call from my DM today to inform me that the now NEW owner of the company lives in Wynnewood, which is just down the street. Yippie. That means frequent visits. YEAH! Well at least the beanie hats are retired!

Well we carved our first pumpkins tonight and boy were they GOOEY! I now remember why I use to let my parents do it when I was a kid. No I would have let Jay to the whole thing, but I like to roast the seeds and if I wanted to do that they I had to dig in and find them. In the end I roasted them to perfection and they are quite yummy. Gabriel really didn't want to have anything to do with it though, he kind just stood back and went "EWWWWW!" But they look very cute on our porch. All in all good family fun that I am glad will only come around once a year!!!

Well my company(The Picture People) that I work for has recently been bought out by a whole new company. We use to owned by Hallmark, but now we are owned by...something management corporation or something like that. Which is quite exciting except for that fact the we are just going into the 4th QTR and I don't think we can handle any more changes right now. But the 1 good thing is that they are planing to make each store digital my the end of 2006. Which should be all great, but this company use to own Zany Brainy and well they WENT BANKRUPT! So I am a little nervous. So we will see what happens!

4th October, 2005. 10:07 am. medical ISSUES!

Well there is NOTHING wrong with me. I can't gain weight because I have a super high metabolism and that puts me at high risk for osteoporosis. Then I have torn tendents and swelling to the ankle and there is nothing they can do for it. I need to stay off my feet, keep ice on, and have it elevated. If it is not broken then who has time for that! I am just very annoyed because I have in the past 2 weeks paid out almost $200 in co-pays and prescriptions, all to find out that THERE IS NOTHING ANY ONE CAN DO FOR ME! AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

3rd October, 2005. 10:45 pm. Kid's comics

Today gabriel took an especially LATE nap around 5pm to start! I thought okay no problem this can give me about 1/2 hour to clean things up and then I will wake him from his cat nap. Just enough so that way he does not turn in to a monster at 8pm. So when I finally get him to wake up he jump up off of his little couch and just started to pace the floor. I asked him is he was okay and he said yea. Then I asked him if he was hungry and he said yes so we went into the kitchen to see what to have for dinner and he decides that he want cereal. Okay A bowl for you and one for me. I gave him him and then went to get mine. He kinda just sat there staring, again I asked him if he was okay and he said "I tired" I said that we will go to bed soon, to that he replies "My PeePee tired too, he can sleep too Mommy?" Why yes Gabriel if your PeePee is tired it can sleep too!

2nd October, 2005. 7:34 am. Melt My heart....

Last night Gabriel was the cutest thing EVER! We had just finished out bath (where we both figured out the best hairstyle for each other)I asked jay to help me get him dress and he totally refused, he wanted "Mommy do it!" Which totally made my night because he is ALWAYS asking Jay to do anything and most of the time just ignores me. So of course I would definitely do it. Then we went downstairs to watch Robots (the movie of the year in his eyes) and he wanted to carry me down the stairs so I walked in from and let him "carry" me. As he is hugging he and helping me down the stairs he tells me "Mommy you my bestest friend" Tears came and i just squeezed him time he giggled with glee and squirmed away. Talk about make someone feel important!
